An Outsider's Outlook
If you can keep your eyes wide open and mind at frustration level lower than threshold then humor can be found even in the local over-crowded buses. Though, I do not like to travel a lot but still I have to. I am describing here a few dialogs listened in the local buses. These situations may or may not be funny, but they surely left me thinking and laughing. Actually, these dialogues were superb in those situations. These are "true stories".
First situation was in a local Noida-Greater Noida yellow bus. These buses are designed beautifully and are more spacious than normal local buses but there seems to be some problem with UP Govts think tank . come on man!..Not yellow!. UP Govt. school dress is orange pent and white shirt. Who suggests them such nice colours? Anyway, The bus was, as usual, more than full. I, with one of my friend Harsh ( Name changed), was going to old Delhi for bus ticket reservation for my journey home. At this time of the year, weather in Noida just starts chilling a little bit but in the day time its still hot.
We, three people were sitting in a space which was meant for two. Myself away from the window and Harsh between me and a man sitting to the window side and the windows was closed. There were many people standing in the empty space between two side's seats. There was a stout man standing very close to us and was very frustrated with the crowded space and was almost sweating. Out of frustration he suddenly said to the man sitting close to the window, "Bahar kya barf pad rahi hai kya, Khidki khol do....". The face of the man sitting close to the window was like anything.
Second one is the story of a blind man of age around 25. He came in the bus and after asking some people went to the seat reserved for physically handicapped people. The blind man was asking for the seat and was not polite in the situation where he should have been. The person who was was already sitting there, and the blind man argued him for the seat. Finally, the man who was sitting said, "You are not physically handicapped." ...and the reply came..." Bhaiya UP ke ho kya .....Dimag-wimag nahin hai kya." In a bus full of UP people, none reacted to this...surprising....No. Not realy!. Finally, blind man got his seat and started talking to the person sitting beside him. In the conversation, blind man said, " Amrika ne Atal Bihari Vajpayee se india ke andhe mange the....usne diye nahin."....It's difficult to get logic behind this and even more surprising is where did the man get this idea.
"Tu Kua Madhuri Dixit hai kya ...." This dialogue was received by a around 28 years of old lady in a crowded bus when she blamed a man for pushing her. Everything is fine but...Bipasha, Priyanka aur Mallika mar gayi kya....
